We create a smoke-free, vape free, and pet free environment to not offend any guest as they maximize upon their dining experience.
* Service dogs are allowed on leashes but not on the furniture and cannot eat from the plates or utensils.
Children must be monitored at ALL times.
Reservations
Our bar seating is available on a first come, first served basis. While walk-ins are welcome, guests are highly encouraged to make reservations to lessen their waiting time. We therefore suggest that you make a reservation online using OpenTable, on our website, or call 443 405 3106. Should you call to make a reservation for a party of 5 or more, a $10 per person deposit is required.
Our restaurant seating capacity is 74 including bar seating and a private lounge. If your party is 15 or more, you are required to rent our large party dining room. Our large party dining room, with a capacity of 25-30 people, can be reserved for 3 hours with the following requirements: 1.) Down payment (confirm with manager) a with credit card on file as a hold for incidentals. 2.) Preorder from menu at least 5 days prior to the event (Any change to preorders on the day of the event is not guaranteed due to time constraints and may not be honored.) 4.) Additional guests may be added within 72 hours, with management approval as seating may be an issue. 5.) No ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE or outside food may be brought unto our premises, with the exception of your celebratory cake. All beverages must be purchased from IQ Bar and Grill.
6.) Final invoice payment is due 5 days prior to the scheduled reservation for the large party dining room.
Our private lounge with a capacity of 4-5 guests can be reserved for a maximum of 3 hours with the following spending requirements: 1.) Guests are required to order a bottle of liquor, wine, or champagne, along with a meal or hors d’oeuvres in the private lounge. 2) There is a 20% gratuity included on your final bill. 3.) A credit card is expected to be on file to initiate this reservation to hold for incidentals. Children should be monitored at ALL times.
There is an additional charge of $60 for up to 30 minutes starting 5 minutes after the allotted time and can only be honored pending no upcoming reservations. Arriving late for your reservation does not secure additional time following your reserved time slot.
Please note that with the reservation of the private lounge and the large party dining room, a $200 clean up fee will be charged to the card on file should there be any disorderly conduct that causes damage to the setting and/furniture. Such conduct includes but not limited to vomiting, cake fights, and intentional pouring of liquor on others, on tables, flooring, wall, or furniture.
Cancellations
Cancellations for the reserved large party dining room must be received at least 3 days prior to the event and must be confirmed with an Island Quizine staff. Any cancellation after this time will incur a 25% cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card on file at the initial booking.
Prohibitions
All forms of table decor are prohibited, this includes, but not limited to, table decorations, upholstery, glitter, confetti, explicit props, toys, bottles, glasses, etc.
Balloons are allowed within the dining room but must be secured and be taken with guests upon departure.
Dress Code
We thank you for wearing attire that is tasteful and chic. Your attire is intended to elevate the dining experience of adults and children Therefore, a non-revealing dress code is preferred and highly encouraged. Thank you for not wearing hair bonnets and pajamas.
Identification
We reserve the right to ask for a valid identification to order or drink any alcoholic beverage. You must be 21 years of age for us to serve you any alcohol. Only physical identification cards can be accepted.
We also reserve the right to refuse any service, should we in our professional judgement and for the safety of our guests and employees feel disrespected or threatened.
Payments and Charges
An 18% gratuity is included on every bill in the general dining area as well as 6% Maryland State tax, and 9% Maryland Alcohol tax if applicable.
There is a 3.5% credit card processing fee for payment of the IQ Bar and Grill private party booking.
Lost and Found
Should we find any item at the end of your event, we will secure it to the best of our abilities. However, IQ Bar and Grill is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal property that you leave behind.
Parking
We do not valet service, but you may park in front our restaurant, or on the sides of the restaurant. Do not block the dumpster or park in the vicinity of the car wash. Additional parking can be found by the tombstones building and the Jiffy Lube after their closing hours.
